Anno Domini Dresden

Some snapshots from eating out at Dresden’s Anno Domini, claiming to be the most rustic restaurant in the world. Well, there are knight’s armors greeting the visitor upon entering, followed by a multitude of hunting trophies and twisted antlers covering the walls alongside candelabras and crucifixes. Beer is served in huge jars and food in iron pans. We eat with some sort of knife-shaped piece of wood and a wooden spoon, there is medieval song singing and if a guest misbehaves or does not eat up the waitress gives them a roasting with whip and morning star or lend them a hand with an overlarge spoon.
